Scored Quiz Overivew | Ittrium websites include a standard Exam plug-in that our customers use to build their own online scored quizzes and tests for their e-learning communities. An exam shares many features with an online survey. It is built from the same set of available questions and the results of taking the exam or survey are captured. Unlike a survey, however, an exam has the ability to score the answers. |
Exam / Quiz Scoring | For all question types (except long answer), a correct response is specified. Points are awarded for a correct answer and can also be deducted for incorrect answers. |
Exam Layout | An exam can be presented as a single page like a survey, in which case the scoring occurs when the user submits the exam. An exam can also be presented question-by-question. In this mode, you decide if questions must be answered in sequential order or randomly by the person taking the online quiz or exam. In this mode, the questions are scored as each question is answered. |
Exam Results | You choose whether or not to display a running total of the questions completed as well as the current score for the exam. The final score can also be presented to the person taking the test or simply emailed to designated person. |
Exam Retries | You decide how many attempts can me made to answer a question correctly and if you want to display the correct answer when in incorrect response is submitted. |
Exam Restarts | An exam is designed to be taken by a user who logs in to your web site. Since the system knows who the user is, you can allow a user to partially complete an exam, and resume taking it at a later time. You can restrict users to taking the exam only once, or you can allow them to take it over and over recording the results of each attempt. |
